  • Trainee analyst (Microbiology) : Bachelors Degree in Microbiology, from a recognized University/Institute, or equivalent.
  • Trainee analyst (Chemistry) : Bachelor of Science Degree with Chemistry as one of the major subject or Bachelor degree in Chemistry from a recognized university, or equivalent.

Salary/ Stipend

  • Rs.20,000/- per month.

Age Limit (as on 27 February 2026)

  • Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of walk-in- test.

General Information/ Instructions

  • Exclusively for Scheduled Caste(SC)/ Scheduled Tribe(ST) candidates.
  • A panel will be prepared for selection of trainees for future requirements.
  • Tenure of Training: One year from the date of joining (extendable for one more year).
  • Leave eligibility: One day per month.
  • Candidates undergone training in any office of Spices Board are not eligible to apply, regardless of whether the training is completed or not.
  • Subject of training: Trainee analyst (Microbiology): Training on microbiological analysis of Spices and Spice products. Trainee analyst (Chemistry): Training on chemical analysis of Spices and Spice products.
  • Venue, Date and time of Walk-in-test: SPICES BOARD, EL-184, ELECTRONIC ZONE TTC INDUSTRIAL AREA, M I D C NAVI MUMBAI MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA 400710. Date: 27-02-2026 (Friday). Time: 10.30 am.
  • Eligible candidate appearing for the test should fill-in and sign the form placed as Annexure I of this notice and bring along with all necessary documents given below: passport size color photograph, original certificates for: Identity proof (Voter card, etc.), proof of age, proof of education and training, Caste Certificate, One set of attested photocopies of the above document stapled to the filled-in and signed Annexure 1. In case of any descrepancy in the name and address one and same certificate from goverment local bodies shall be submitted.
  • The number of trainees indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of selection.
  • The selection as Trainee Analyst in Spices Board is only a training and under no circumstances are linked to regular appointments and cannot be regularized at any stage.
  • The validity of the rank list shall be two years from the date of publishing.
