Eligibility Criteria

• 1st Preference (Individual sports): Represented India at recognized International competition under recognized NSF / Association of respective sports
• 1st Preference (Team sports): Represented India at recognized International competition under recognized NSF / Association of respective sports
• 2nd Preference (Individual sports): Medal winner at Senior National Championship conducted by recognized NSF or Medal Winner at Khelo India Games.
• 2nd Preference (Team sports): Part of Medal winning team at Senior National conducted by recognized NSF or Part of Medal Winning team at Khelo India Games.
• 3rd Preference (Individual sports): Medal Winner at National AIU Championship
• 3rd Preference (Team sports): Part of Medal winning team at National AIU Championship
• 4th Preference (Individual sports): Represented State in Senior National Championship conducted by recognized NSF or Participation in Khelo India Games
• 4th Preference (Team sports): Represented State in Senior National Championship conducted by recognized NSF or Participation in Khelo India Games

Salary/ Stipend

• Past Champion Athlete: Rs. 25,000

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit for applicants will be 40 Years. However, in special cases, where there is a remarkable achievement in the given sporting discipline, age relaxation may be considered at the discretion of Director of Sports & Youth Affairs -cum-Member Secretary, SDAP.

Selection Process

• The Selection will be based on preliminary short listing of applications based on qualifications, followed by an interview. However, this is subject to modification by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs - SDAP at any stage.

General Information / Instructions

• The talent identification shall be done as per applicable guidelines.
• The coaching activity shall be done for 6 days in a week, except on Government holidays.
• There shall be a monthly performance review on the coaching activities. Non performance will lead to conclusion of contract with 30 days notice period or payment of equivalent coaching fee thereof.
• The contract concludes automatically without any notice on conclusion of 11 months or at the date mentioned in the engagement order, whichever is earlier.
• The engagement of the above post shall be purely on temporary basis and on a consultancy basis. At no point, the applicants can claim any benefit or preference in any appointment at SDAP or Government citing this engagement. At no point this engagement shall be given any status of permanency.
• The engagement shall be initially for 11 months only. The contract stands terminated automatically on completion of 11 months / on the date indicated in the engagement order. Otherwise the contract can be terminated by giving a 30 days' notice by either party or by payment of 30 days' coaching fee to the other party. In cases of extreme impropriety by the employee, the contract will be terminated immediately without notice.
• Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs -cum- SDAP at its discretion shall decide on the selection process, period of engagement (max - 11 Months) or (extendable on annual review as per KIC Guidelines), etc. Also, SDAP shall at any stage cancel or modify this selection process.
• All official communications regarding this selection process shall be made only through the email address or mobile number given in the application form by the candidate. All general notices shall be published only in the official website of Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs - SDAP. (Directorate of School Education)
• All data collected / accessed, information accessed, reports prepared or accessed, etc, whether in digital / printed or in any other form as a part of this assignment and during this period on anything related to this assignment shall be a property of Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs - SDAP. Strict confidentiality shall be maintained and at no point any of these shall be shared with anyone without prior, specific, written approval of Director of Sports and Youth Affairs -cum- Member Secretary, SDAP.
• During the period of engagement, Employee would be subject to the provisions of the Indian Official Secret Act, 1923 and will not divulge any information gathered by him/her during the period of his/her engagement to anyone who is not authorized to know.
• Selected persons will not be allowed to publish a book or a compilation of articles or participate in a radio broadcast or contribute an article or anonymously or pseudonymously in the name of any other person, if such book, article, broadcast, uses any information that he/she may gather as part of this assignment.
• The selected personnel at no instance can represent or give opinion or advice to others in any matter, which is adverse to the interest of SDAP/ its members or players /Government.
