Why Did SSC Release the GD Constable Revised Result 2026?

SSC received representations from candidates seeking clarification about the categories shown in the original PET/PST shortlists.

Some applicants had applied under SC, ST, OBC, EWS or Ex-Servicemen categories but qualified the Computer-Based Examination using the standards prescribed for Unreserved candidates.

As a result, these candidates appeared under the Unreserved category in the earlier lists.

To make the information clearer, SSC published detailed lists containing both the candidates' original application categories and their categories considered for shortlisting.
