TIFR Eligibility Criteria 2026
Nationality: Indian Citizens (as per Government of India rules).
Essential Educational Qualification & Experience (varies by post – refer detailed notification):
- Engineer (D) [Mechanical]: M.E./M.Tech. or Ph.D. in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering + minimum 2 years experience.
- Jr. Engineer (B) [Mechanical]: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering + 1-2 years experience in CNC machines.
- Tradesman (B) (Carpenter/Fitter/Machinist-Miller): NTC/NAC in relevant trade + 1-2 years experience.
- Project Scientific Officer (C): B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication + 1 year experience.
- Library Trainee: Graduate + B.Lib. (Science preferable).
- Temporary Work Assistant: SSC + minimum 1 year experience (basic science knowledge for one post).
