Tripura Forest Department Eligibility Criteria 2026
Before applying, candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria. Applicants must possess Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
Educational Qualification:
- Forest Guard: Madhyamik (Class 10) passed or equivalent.
- Forester: Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) passed or equivalent.
Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.

- Age Limit: 18-40 years as on 01 May 2026.
- Upper age relaxation of 5 years is admissible for SC/ST candidates and Government employees.

Selection will be done through:
- Written Examination (85% marks)
- Interview (15% marks)
Only candidates securing cut-off marks in the written test will be called for interview. Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
Written Test Syllabus:
For Forest Guard: Mathematics (20), English (30), General Knowledge (120), Interview (30). Bengali/Kokborok is qualifying in nature (Min 40%).
For Forester: Mathematics (20), English (20), General Knowledge (100), Science (30), Interview (30). Bengali/Kokborok is qualifying in nature (Min 40%).
