As per the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department Avar Abhiyanta Seva Niyamawali, 2015 (Part-4, Rule-8), candidates must hold:
- A High School certificate from the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government; and
- A three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Prāvidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government and approved by AICTE.
Candidates should assess their qualification as on the last date of application, 7 October 2026, and must possess the required certificates by that date.
Preferential Qualification
As per Rule-9 of the same service rules, other things being equal, preference in direct recruitment is given to candidates who have either served a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army, or obtained the National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' certificate.

- Candidates must possess the mandatory educational qualification and satisfy the age limit as on the last date of application, 7 October 2026.
- Applications cannot be submitted or fees paid after 7 October 2026; no representation or claim will be entertained after this date.
- The application form can only be modified up to 14 October 2026, and only for the specific fields UPSSSC permits (correspondence address, EWS/horizontal reservation category, qualification details, marital status). No other fields can be changed after modification.
