UPSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Essential): As per Uttar Pradesh Pharmacist Service Rules, 1980, Part-4, Rule-8, candidates must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from a recognised institution and must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh.
Preferential Qualification: As per UP Pharmacist Service Rules 1980, Part-4, Rule-9, preference in direct recruitment will be given to candidates who have either served in the Provincial Armed Forces (Pradeshik Sena) for a minimum of two years, or who have obtained the 'B' Certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), all other conditions being equal.
Age Limit: Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and must not exceed 40 years of age as on 1 January of the year in which recruitment is made. If the post was advertised between 1 January and 30 June, age is reckoned as on 1 January; if advertised between 1 July and 31 December, age is reckoned as on 1 July of that year. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and other categories as notified by the Government from time to time.

Eligible candidates for UPSSSC Pharmacist (Bheshajik) Recruitment 2026 must submit their application online before the revised last date.

Important Instructions for UPSSSC Pharmacist 2026
- Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and received a score card from UPSSSC are eligible to apply for this Main Examination.
- Candidates scoring zero or negative (absolute or normalised) marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
- All reserved category candidates from Uttar Pradesh must mention their category in the application form. Only one (most beneficial) reservation will be applicable if a candidate claims multiple categories.
- Candidates who are not domicile of Uttar Pradesh will not be eligible for reservation benefits and will be treated as General/Unreserved.
- EWS candidates must possess an EWS certificate issued between 01-04-2025 and 29-03-2026 (application closing date), based on income of financial year 2024-25 and valid for financial year 2025-26.
- Date of Birth will be verified only from the High School (Class 10) certificate. No other document will be accepted for age proof.
- Male candidates having more than one living wife, or female candidates married to a person who already has a living wife, will not be eligible.
- Candidates currently employed in Central or State Government must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
- The Commission will not contact candidates individually. All notifications will be published on the official website upsssc.gov.in only. Candidates must check the website regularly.
- Providing false or incorrect information in the application may result in cancellation of candidature and debarment from future examinations.
- Use of unfair means, misbehaviour, or any misconduct in the examination hall will lead to cancellation of candidature and debarment as per UP Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act-2024.
- Application amendment is allowed only up to 05/04/2026 for permissible fields (correspondence address, EWS/horizontal reservation details, qualification details, and marital status). No amendment is possible after this date.

Selected candidates for the post of Pharmacist (Bheshajik) will be placed at Level-5 of the pay matrix with the following pay structure:

- Grade Pay: ₹2,800 per month
