UPSSSC PET-2025 Prerequisite
Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET)-2025 and received a PET-2025 score card issued by the Commission are eligible to apply for this Main Examination. Shortlisting for the Main Exam is based on merit using the normalised PET-2025 score.
UPSSSC Reservation Details
Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections of Uttar Pradesh is applicable as per the Uttar Pradesh Government's prevailing notifications and the requisition received from the department. EWS candidates must hold an EWS certificate, issued between 1 April 2026 and the application closing date (6 November 2026), based on income for financial year 2025–26, valid for financial year 2026–27, in the prescribed format. Reservation for Divyangjan is governed by Uttar Pradesh's Divyangjan Empowerment Section-3 government orders, under which 4% horizontal reservation is ensured across Group Ka, Kha, Ga, and Gha posts; Divyang candidates must mark their specific disability category/sub-category in the application. The written exam consists of a single objective-type, multiple-choice paper of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking provision of 25% (i.e. one-fourth) of the marks allotted to a question for each wrong answer.

UPSSSC Apply Online
Applications must be submitted online only, through the Commission's website upsssc.gov.in. Applications sent through any other mode will not be accepted. The broad process is:
- Find the advertisement: On the UPSSSC homepage, under the "Live Advertisement Segment," locate and download/view the relevant advertisement.
- Login via PET-2025 registration number: Candidates authenticate/log in using their PET-2025 registration number, verified via an OTP sent to their registered mobile number/email.
- Review auto-filled details: Personal details recorded at PET-2025 (name, parents'/spouse's name, UP residency status, category, EWS status, horizontal reservation details, date of birth, gender, marital status, contact details) are displayed automatically.
- Select post(s): Candidates must select the post(s) they wish to apply for; a post not selected will not be considered.
- Confirm qualification details: Candidates confirm Yes/No for holding the required qualification for the selected post(s), and enter board/institution/university name, year of passing, certificate/roll number, and marks obtained.
- Verify photo and signature: The photo and signature uploaded at PET-2025 are displayed automatically and cannot be changed at this stage.
- Preferential qualification and address: Candidates indicate Yes/No for any preferential qualification, and their permanent/correspondence address from PET-2025 is displayed automatically.
- Declaration and submission: Candidates must read and accept the declaration, enter the verification code, and submit. A completed application with an 11-digit registration number is generated; a printed copy should be retained safely.
- Pay the fee: Pay the applicable fee (see Fee section above) via the payment options on the portal. The application cannot be finally submitted, downloaded, or printed until the fee payment is confirmed/adjusted by the bank.
- Download and verify printout: After successful fee payment and adjustment, download and print the application form and check all entries carefully.
UPSSSC Yuva Kalyan Adhikari & Vyayam Prashikshak Important Instructions
- Candidates must possess the required essential qualification(s) and other eligibility conditions, and fall within the prescribed age limit, by the application closing date (6 November 2026).
- Candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation benefits must obtain the relevant caste/reservation certificate, in the prescribed format, issued by a competent authority on or before the date specified in the notification, and must produce it to the Commission when required.
- EWS category applicants must hold an EWS certificate issued between 1 April 2026 and 6 November 2026 (the application closing date), based on income for financial year 2025–26, valid for financial year 2026–27, in the prescribed format.
- Candidates must indicate their post preference at the time of document scrutiny; the Commission will attempt to allot posts as per preference, subject to availability, seniority, educational qualification, and age, but the Commission's decision is final.
- Only one application is to be made for the advertised posts.
- After final submission, applications can be modified only via the "Modify Application" option on the Applicant's Dashboard, using an OTP sent to the registered mobile/email, and only for specified fields (correspondence address, EWS and horizontal reservation category details, mandatory/preferential qualification details, and marital status) - other details, including category, date of birth, and gender, cannot be changed.
- Candidates must adjust their fee payment and download their application printout by the closing date or within 7 days thereafter (by 13 November 2026); after this, no fee adjustment or printout will be possible, and the application will not be considered valid.
- No request for correction/modification will be accepted after the correction deadline of 13 November 2026 under any circumstances.
- If any discrepancy or false information is found at any stage, the candidate's application/candidature will be rejected, and further debarment or disciplinary action may follow.
