How to Check and Download the UPTAC Round 4 Allotment Letter
- Visit the official UPTAC counselling website, uptac.samarth.edu.in.
- Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
- Log in using your registration number/email ID and password.
- Your allotted institute and branch for Round 4 will be displayed on the dashboard.
- Download the allotment letter in PDF format and take a printout for future reference.
The allotment letter must be carried in original at the time of physical reporting at the allotted institute, as the institute cannot complete admission formalities without it.
UPTAC Round 4: Freeze, Float and Withdrawal - What's Different This Round
Unlike Rounds 1 to 3, where candidates could choose to freeze (accept the seat and exit counselling) or float (accept the seat but stay eligible for upgrades in the next round), Round 4 does not offer a freeze/float choice. Any seat allotted in Round 4 is automatically frozen, meaning candidates cannot seek a further upgrade through the regular counselling rounds.

Who Should Check the UPTAC Round 4 Result
- Candidates who participated in Round 1, 2, or 3 choice filling and opted to "float" for a seat upgrade
- Candidates who registered for counselling but did not receive a seat allotment in earlier rounds and remained eligible

No fresh registration is accepted for Round 4; registration for the regular rounds (Rounds 1- 4) was open only once, before Round 1.
What Happens After UPTAC Round 4?
Round 4 is the final round of the regular/general UPTAC counselling process. After Round 4, AKTU is expected to conduct the following stages, subject to seat availability:
- Internal Sliding Round: For candidates who have physically reported to their allotted institute
- Special Round 1 and Special Round 2: For eligible candidates based on JEE Main 2026, CUET (UG) 2026, and Class 12 qualifications, depending on remaining vacancies
Candidates who have already confirmed and frozen their seat after the last main round of counselling are generally not eligible to participate in the Special Round.
