• The Chairperson / members shall have at least 7 (seven years) of experience of working with children in the field of education, health or welfare activities or should be a practicing professional with a degree in Child Psychology or Psychiatry or sociology or Human Development or in the field of law or a retired judicial officer.

General Information/ Instructions

• Tenure of the Chairperson/Members of the Child Welfare Committees and Juvenile Justice Board shall be for a maximum period of 3 years from the date of appointment.
• The Person applying for the post of the Chairperson/Members of the Child Welfare committee shall submit an affidavit, as per Form 49 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Model Amendment Rules, 2022, certifying that the applicant is not barred by any of the conditions laid down in sub-section 4A of Section 27 of the JJ Act, 2015.
• TA/DA shall not be provided for attending the interview.
• Eligible candidates will be informed through telephone call/SMS/e-mail.
• If any candidate is found for submitting wrong information, the Department shall take appropriate action.
