Directorate General Border Security Force MEDICAL OFFICER SELECTION BOARD (CPFs) –2010 inviting applications from indian citizens for the recruitment of Group ‘A’ post of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in Central Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The Cadre of Specialist Medical Officers and Medical Officers of the above organizations has been re-structured on the pattern of Central Health Service. The post of Specialist Medical officers and Medical Officers, Group ‘A’ is combatised in the rank of Deputy Commandant and Assistant Commandant respectively and that the rank structure is commensurating to their pay scale in the cadre, subject to instructions issued from time to time.

5)SSB : 21 vacancies
Pay scale : Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Grade pay Rs.6,600/- per month
Age : below 35 years as on 09-10-2010
B) Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant) : total 291 vacancies
1)BSF : 58 vacancies
2)CRPF : 97 vacancies
3)ITBP : 72
4)Assam Rifles : 12
5)SSB : 52 vacancies
Pay scale : Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Grade pay Rs.5,400/- per month
Age : below 30 years as on 09-10-2010

Covers containing applications must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATIO₃ FOR THE POST OF SPECIALIST MEDICAL OFFICERS (DEPUTY COMMANDANT)/MEDICAL OFFICERS (ASSISTANT COMMANDANT)” in CPFs–2010.Application as per specimen given at Appendix ‘A’ should reach at the following address on or before 09th Oct’2010.
