BHEL 800 Engineers Trainee – Online Application Form 2011: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited – BHEL has asking online applications from qualified and energetic Graduate Engineers for the recruitment of 800 Engineers Trainee in the Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics disciplines. Those who want to apply these posts have to apply through online from 04-01-2012 to 28-01-2012. The recruitment of Engineer Trainee will be based on GATE–2012, so applicants who are desirous of joining BHEL as Engineer Trainee should take the GATE–2012 Entrance Exam. The details like age limit, educational qualification, how to apply and other details of BHEL is given below…
BHEL vacancy details:
Total no. of posts: 800 posts
Name of the posts: Engineers Trainee
1. Mechanical: 550 posts
2. Electrical: 175 posts
3. Electronics: 75 posts
Age limit: The upper age limit is 27 years for Graduate Engineers and 29 years for Post Graduates Engineering, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology OR 5 years integrated Masters Degree or Dual Degree programme in engineering or technology in the disciplines of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from recognized by UPSC/AICTE.
Application fee: Applicants pay the fee in the form of challan for Rs 100/- for general applicants (No fee for SC/ST/PH applicants) through the powerjyoti account. The fee details will be available on the BHEL website from 04-01-2012 onwards.
Selection procedure: The selection will be including of GATE 2012 score of the applicants in the concerned disciplines and performance in interview and medical examination.
How to apply: The qualified and eligible applicants have to apply through online at the BHEL website from 04-01-2012 to 28-01-2012 only after registration in GATE-2012. After submission of online application applicants take print out of the application form, paste a copy of the same photograph used for GATE-2012, sign at the space given in the form and send it along with fee payment challan to the BHEL address on or before 22-02-2012 (For remote areas 29-02-2012). Applicants those who want to apply these posts of Engineers Trainee in BHEL will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering-2012 (GATE-2012) which has been advertised in the newspapers on 11-09-2011. The score of GATE will be utilized by the BHEL for inviting applicants for a personal interview.

Opening date for online registration: 12-09-2011.
Closing date for online registration: 17-10-2011.
Date of GATE examination: 12-02-2012.
For BHEL:
Opening date of BHEL recruitment detailed advertisement: 12-09-2011.
Opening date for online registration: 04-01-2012.
Closing date for online registration: 28-01-2012.
Last date for receipt of Acknowledgement Slips at BHEL: 22-02-2012 (For remote areas 29-02-2012).

on submission of online application, the system will generate an acknowledge slip having an unique acknowlegement number, candidates are required to take print out of the acknowledge slip, affix a copy of the same photograph used for gate-2012, sign at the space provided and send it to BHEL along with challan of Rs.100/-

As per the notification, the candidates currently in the final year of their engineering studies may also apply, if they selected they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by 20th August 2012.
