Who Cannot Apply for HPRCA Recruitment 2026
- Reserved category candidates of States other than Himachal Pradesh are treated as General (UR) without reservation or fee concession.
Pay and Terms of Engagement
- Purely scheme based, temporary engagement for a period of Five (05) Years, not against any sanctioned posts.
- No right of regularization against any vacant sanctioned posts of Education Department.

How Will HPRCA Select Candidates?
- Written screening test (Computer Based Test or OMR based test)
- Document verification
- Written screening test by CBT; OMR based test may be preferred where the number of candidates is limited.
- Candidates shortlisted for document verification to allow recommendation and the waiting panel.
- Option for Departments/Districts in order of preference given in writing at document verification, where applicable; allocation on Merit-cum-Option-cum-Availability of Post.
- Category-wise waiting list (panel) valid for one year from the date of sending recommendation.
HPRCA Exam Pattern 2026
- Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for general category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters.
- Aayog may relax qualifying percentage by maximum 5% (40% General, 35% SC/ST/OBC/WFF) if qualifiers are fewer than posts.
- Multiple-shift CBT scores normalized using Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method).

How to Apply for HPRCA Recruitment 2026 Online
- Register on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal before filling the ORA.
- Fill the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) on https://hprca.hp.gov.in from 10.11.2026 (10:00 AM) to 05.12.2026 till 11:59 PM.
- Give a working mobile number and email ID and keep them working till the selection process ends.
- Fill complete and correct particulars; incorrect information may disqualify the candidate.
- Pay examination and processing fees online only; no other mode is accepted.
- Bring the downloaded copy of the online form with original certificates and self-attested photocopies at document verification.
Other Points to Note
- Correction window of four days after the closing date, subject to payment of the prescribed fee.
- Number of posts is tentative and may increase or decrease; vacancies and reservation liable to be altered without notice.
- Unfilled EWS posts are de-reserved and filled from non-EWS unreserved candidates.
- Candidates are admitted provisionally, subject to verification of eligibility at document verification.
