Age limit: The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on 01/01/2012, i.e., Sports person should have been born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/1994.

Educational qualification: Sportspersons must possess the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass or ITI or equivalent and Graduate passed.

Application fee: Demand draft/Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 40/- (No fee for SC/ST/ESXM/PWD and other category aspirants) drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Southern Railway, payable at Chennai.

Selection procedure: The mode of selection is Trail and Interview basis.
