WBSSC Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 802 HM & Librarian Posts: West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has issued notification against recruitment of 802 Head Master and Librarian Vacancies. WBSSC in this regard would conduct 12th Regional Level Selection Test (HM) 2012 for recruitment of Head Master and 2nd Regional Level Selection Test (NT) 2012 for recruitment of librarian. Eligible candidates may apply through Online mode on or before 31-07-2012. WBSSC Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 802
Names of Posts:
1. Head Master – 721 vacancies
2. Librarian – 81 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 55 years for Head Master post and between 20 and 40 years for Librarian post. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master’s Degree with Bachelor’s Degree of Teaching or equivalent qualification from recognised University for Head Master post and must possess Bachelor’s Degree with Degree in Library Science or equivalent qualification, for Librarian post.

Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) for Head Master post and Rs. 250/- (Rs. 80/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in form of Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank in West Bengal in the name of “West Bengal Central School Service Commission” payable at Kolkata.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Personality Test and Written Test.

How to Apply: Interested candidates need to apply for the desired post on or before 31-07-2012. After submission of online application, candidates must take 2 print outs of Application Form and send it along with payment receipt and other necessary enclosures, to concerned Regional Office of School Service Commission, addresses have been mentioned in the notification.

1. Make payment as per the details mentioned above before starting Online Application Process.
2. Log on to the website, www.westbengalssc.com to start the application process.
3. Select the “Apply Online for the post of Head master/Head mistress under 12th RLST” or “Apply Online for 2nd RLST Non Teaching for the post of Librarian” as per the desired post to be applied for.
4. Fill all marked details carefully and check once before submission of Application, Online.
5. Upload the previously scanned photograph and signature at the place provided and Submit the Online Application.
6. After submission, candidates must take 2 print outs of Application Form and send one to concerned Regional Office of School Service Commission.
