To strengthen the security, transparency, and integrity of the examination process, NTA has introduced the following initiatives for AIAPGET 2026:
- Aadhaar-based Authentication: Candidates are encouraged to authenticate themselves through Aadhaar while submitting the Application Form and should ensure their Aadhaar photograph and demographic details are updated as per UIDAI records. NTA reserves the right to verify identity and credentials at any stage of the admission process.
- Live Photograph Capture: In addition to uploading a passport-size photograph, candidates must capture a live photograph during the application process. This live photograph will also appear on the Admit Card and Score Card. Candidates should ensure proper lighting, a plain light-coloured background, and clear visibility of the face, including ears, without a mask. Where webcam support is unavailable, the system allows capture through a mobile device via QR code.
- UDID-based Verification for PwD/PwBD Candidates: Candidates claiming reservation under the PwD/PwBD category and holding a Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card must upload it for verification through the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities portal. Candidates without a UDID Card must upload a valid Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, which may also be verified from the issuing authority.
