Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Essential Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Postgraduate degree in Physics/Medical Physics/Biology/Biotechnology
OR
Graduate degree in professional course (Medical/Nursing/Engineering). - Multi Task Worker:
12th grade.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience
- For JRF:
- Experience in qualitative research, especially oncology or quality-of-life studies.
- Proficiency in managing and analysing clinical datasets while maintaining ethical and data-confidentiality standards.
- Experience in scientific writing, technical documentation and presenting research findings.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office work.
- For Multi Task Worker:
- Hands-on experience in computer skills and data entry.
Age Limit
- Junior Research Fellow: Below 35 years as on the last date of application.
- Multi Task Worker: Below 30 years as on the last date of application.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC, departmental candidates (including projects) as per Central Government/ICMR guidelines, subject to submission of supporting documents.
Selection Process
- Selection will be through an interview by the selection committee.
- If more than 30 eligible candidates appear for interview, a written examination of 20 multiple-choice questions for 20 marks will be conducted on the day of interview.
- Qualifying marks in written test: 35% for SC/ST and 40% for UR/OBC/EWS.
- Top 10 candidates in written test for each post (who score qualifying marks or more) will be called for interview.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on marks of written test and interview.
- If number of eligible candidates is less than 30 (written exam not conducted), merit will be prepared based on interview marks only.
- No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in interview/exam or for joining.
- Interview will be conducted in person only; no online interview provision.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed by individual email.

Salary/Stipend
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 43,660/- per month (consolidated).
- Multi Task Worker: Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated).

- Contract will automatically expire on completion of period unless renewed with mutual consent; either side can terminate with 7 days’ notice or salary in lieu.
- Leave entitlement will be as per AIIMS Bhopal policy for extramural/short term research projects.
- No hostel or accommodation will be provided by the Institute/Principal Investigator.
- Candidates in government service must submit a No Objection Certificate from current employer at the time of interview.
- Prescribed qualification is minimum; mere possession does not entitle selection.
- Candidates must bring original certificates for age, qualification, experience, two recent passport-size colour photographs and one set of self-attested copies; without these, they will not be allowed for written test/interview.
- No travelling or other allowance will be paid for selection process or joining.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification; private practice of any type is prohibited.
- Candidates may be posted at any place as per project requirements, including rural/field sites.
- Candidates must follow rules of conduct and discipline applicable to institute employees; they should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
