1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• A recognized medical qualification included in I or II Schedule or Part II of the 3rd Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the 3rd Schedule must fulfil the conditions stipulated in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• With 5 years’ experience in Blood Bank with component separator.
• OR M.D. in Blood Transfusion Medicine with 1-year experience in Blood Bank with component separator during the PG course.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years for personnel serving in Central/State Government and Autonomous Institutions of Central & State Government and for regular employees of the concerned AIIMS who have completed three years of regular service period, subject to submission of Annexure-II. Age relaxation to other categories will be applicable as per DoPT instructions, and regulation of age relaxation will follow DoPT rules.
