Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Scientific Officer-E (Cardiology) - DR/01: MBBS + MD (General Medicine) + DM (Cardiology) with 2 years experience OR MBBS + DNB (General Medicine) + DNB (Cardiology) with 2 years experience
• Scientific Officer-E (Hospital Administrator) - DR/02: MBBS/BDS + PG Degree or PG Diploma in Hospital Administration/Hospital Management/Hospital and Healthcare Management (minimum 1 year duration) + 8 years experience (3 years as Hospital Administrator in minimum 100 bed capacity hospital)
• Scientific Officer-D (Hospital Administrator) - DR/02: MBBS/BDS + PG Degree or PG Diploma in Hospital Administration/Hospital Management/Hospital and Healthcare Management (minimum 1 year duration) + 3 years experience (2 years as Hospital Administrator in minimum 100 bed capacity hospital)
• Scientific Officer-D (ENT) - DR/03: MBBS with MS (ENT) / MD (ENT) / DNB (ENT) from a recognized University
• Scientific Officer-D (Radiodiagnosis/Radiology) - DR/04: MBBS with MD (Radio-diagnosis) or DNB (Radio-diagnosis) from a recognized University OR MBBS + PG Diploma in Radio-diagnosis/Radiology + 3 years experience after PG Diploma
• Scientific Officer-D (Ophthalmology) - DR/05: MBBS with MS (Ophthalmology) or DNB (Ophthalmology) from a recognized University
• Scientific Officer-D (Pathology) - DR/06: MBBS with MD (Pathology) or DNB (Pathology) from a recognized University
• Scientific Officer-D (Anaesthesiology) - DR/07: MBBS with MD (Anaesthesia) or DNB (Anaesthesia) from a recognized University
• Scientific Officer-C (General Duty/Casualty Medical Officer) - DR/08: MBBS from a recognized University with one year institutional experience
• Scientific Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine) - DR/09 & DR/12: MBBS with MD (Nuclear Medicine) or DNB (Nuclear Medicine) from a recognized University OR MBBS + PG Diploma in Nuclear Medicine + 3 years experience after PG Diploma
• Technical Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine Technology) - DR/10 & DR/13: M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks + Diploma in Medical Radio-Isotope Techniques (DMRIT)/Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology (DNMT)/Diploma in Fusion Imaging Technology (DFIT) with minimum 50% marks OR M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology with 60% marks
• Scientific Officer-E (Nuclear Medicine) - DR/11: MBBS with MD (Nuclear Medicine) or DNB (Nuclear Medicine) from a recognized University with 4 years of experience after acquiring the prescribed qualification

Desirable Experience

• For Technical Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine Technology): 4 years experience. Experience in full-fledged Nuclear Medicine Centre having PET/CT Scanner and GAMMA camera/SPECT/CT System will be preferred

Salary/Stipend

• Scientific Officer-E (Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine) - Level 12: ₹78,800 + NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance)
• Scientific Officer-E (Hospital Administrator) - Level 12: ₹78,800 + NPA
• Scientific Officer-D (All disciplines) - Level 11: ₹67,700 + NPA
• Technical Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine Technology) - Level 11: ₹67,700
• Scientific Officer-C (General Duty/Casualty Medical Officer) - Level 10: ₹56,100 + NPA

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on performance in personal interview
• In case of high response, BARC reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by conducting screening test of eligible candidates
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview
• The decision of the Research Centre will be final and binding
• Validity of operation of wait-list will be one year from the date of publication of the Select Panel
