Educational Qualifications
- Scientific Officer-E (Cardiology) - DR/01: MBBS + MD (General Medicine) + DM (Cardiology) with 2 years experience OR MBBS + DNB (General Medicine) + DNB (Cardiology) with 2 years experience
- Scientific Officer-E (Hospital Administrator) - DR/02: MBBS/BDS + PG Degree or PG Diploma in Hospital Administration/Hospital Management/Hospital and Healthcare Management (minimum 1 year duration) + 8 years experience (3 years as Hospital Administrator in minimum 100 bed capacity hospital)
- Scientific Officer-D (Hospital Administrator) - DR/02: MBBS/BDS + PG Degree or PG Diploma in Hospital Administration/Hospital Management/Hospital and Healthcare Management (minimum 1 year duration) + 3 years experience (2 years as Hospital Administrator in minimum 100 bed capacity hospital)
- Scientific Officer-D (ENT) - DR/03: MBBS with MS (ENT) / MD (ENT) / DNB (ENT) from a recognized University

- Scientific Officer-E (Nuclear Medicine) - DR/11: MBBS with MD (Nuclear Medicine) or DNB (Nuclear Medicine) from a recognized University with 4 years of experience after acquiring the prescribed qualification
Desirable Experience
- For Technical Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine Technology): 4 years experience. Experience in full-fledged Nuclear Medicine Centre having PET/CT Scanner and GAMMA camera/SPECT/CT System will be preferred
Salary/Stipend
- Scientific Officer-E (Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine) - Level 12: ₹78,800 + NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance)
- Scientific Officer-E (Hospital Administrator) - Level 12: ₹78,800 + NPA
- Scientific Officer-D (All disciplines) - Level 11: ₹67,700 + NPA
- Technical Officer-D (Nuclear Medicine Technology) - Level 11: ₹67,700

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on performance in personal interview
- In case of high response, BARC reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by conducting screening test of eligible candidates
- Final selection will be based on performance in the interview
- The decision of the Research Centre will be final and binding
- Validity of operation of wait-list will be one year from the date of publication of the Select Panel

- The nature of duties involves working in round the clock shift duties
- Selected candidates will initially be posted at Mumbai/Kolkata and are liable to be posted to any Units of BARC in India or any Constituent Units of Department of Atomic Energy
