- M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Chemistry or MSc Chemistry is required as qualification for the Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) post.
- Candidates having experience in organic synthesis, analytical instruments, and animal handling will be preferred.
Salary / Stipend
- Fellowship / Stipend: 56,000 per month + 10% HRA (if applicable, as per rules).
Age Limit
- Upper age limit for the Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) post is 35 years.

General Information / Instructions
- The position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) is purely on contractual basis.
- The project is sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
- The project title is “Development, Evaluation and Clinical Validation of Fluorescent Molecules to Target Alzheimer’s Disease”.
- The project tenure is 1 year and extendable to 3 years.
- Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
- The selected candidate will undertake synthesis and characterization of fluorescent molecular probes, including analytical and photophysical studies, and perform in vitro and in vivo biological evaluations.
- The candidate will coordinate with the clinical research team at AIIMS, New Delhi, for translational studies, analyze data, maintain documentation, and contribute to publications, conferences, and patent filings.
