Educational Qualification

Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer - Software/Android Posts

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• BE or B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a relevant domain with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; or
• ME, M.Tech or postgraduate degree in CSE, EEE, ECE or a relevant domain with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; or
• PhD with all requirements completed except the thesis in a relevant discipline.

Project Engineer - Network Security

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• BE or B.Tech, or equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electronics or a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; or
• Postgraduate degree in Science, Computer Applications or a relevant domain with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; or
• ME or M.Tech, or an equivalent degree, in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

All qualifications must be obtained from an AICTE or UGC-approved college or institute, or from a recognised university.

Post-wise Experience and Skill Requirements

1. Project Manager - Software System Architect

Required experience: At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in system architecture, enterprise application architecture, solution design and implementation of large-scale IT systems.

Preferred experience and skills:

• Secure, scalable and high-availability system architecture
• Enterprise application integration and microservices architecture
• Database and data architecture
• Cloud, on-premises and hybrid infrastructure
• Cybersecurity and disaster recovery
• Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• PostgreSQL and Spring Framework
• Distributed computing, storage and networking
• DevOps tools and implementation
• Performance tuning, testing, deployment and scalability

Experience in large government, research and development, e-Governance, enterprise or mission-critical IT projects is desirable.

2. Senior Project Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Required experience: At least four years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Required skills:

• Java and J2EE
• Spring Boot
• Hibernate or JPA
• Struts 2
• PostgreSQL
• ReactJS
• JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• REST API development
• Maven or Gradle
• Git
• Microservices architecture

Experience in e-Governance or enterprise application projects, workflow-based systems, debugging, performance optimisation and production support is desirable.

3. Project Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Required experience: At least two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

The candidate should have experience in full stack application development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate or JPA, Struts 2, PostgreSQL, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, Git, Maven or Gradle and microservices architecture.

4. Senior Project Engineer - Android Developer

Required experience: At least four years of relevant post-qualification experience in mobile application development.

Required skills:

• Android or iOS application development
• Kotlin, Java, Swift or Objective-C
• Flutter or React Native
• Mobile UI and UX development
• REST API and backend integration
• Database and cloud integration
• Authentication, security and data synchronisation
• Application testing and performance optimisation
• Google Play Store or Apple App Store deployment
• Production support and application maintenance

5. Project Engineer - Android Developer

Required experience: The detailed eligibility section prescribes at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience in mobile application development.

Candidates should have practical experience in Android or iOS development using technologies such as Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, Flutter or React Native. Experience in REST API integration, security, application testing, deployment and production support is required.

Salary Details

The indicated pay range represents the starting pay for candidates possessing the minimum prescribed experience. Additional increments may be offered to candidates with higher relevant experience in accordance with C-DAC policy.

Contract Period

• The appointments are purely contractual.
• The initial engagement will be for up to one year or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• The contract may be extended depending on performance, project duration and organisational requirements.
• Contractual engagement does not provide any right to claim regular appointment in C-DAC.
• Selected candidates may be assigned or transferred to another C-DAC project or location in India according to organisational requirements.

Application Fee

No application fee will be charged for attending the C-DAC Guwahati walk-in interview.

Selection Process

The C-DAC selection process may include the following stages:

1. Registration at the walk-in venue
2. Initial screening of qualification, experience and application details
3. Written or skill test, if conducted
4. Personal interview
5. Document verification

Candidates may be assessed on their academic credentials, relevant experience, written-test marks, interview performance and any other selection parameters adopted by C-DAC. Satisfying the minimum qualification does not automatically guarantee participation in every stage.
