Programme 1: AYURVIDYA-Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle through AYUSH System in Schools

Programme 2: AYUSH Mobile Medical Unit (For Tribal Dominated Population)

Eligibility Criteria

For AYUSH Doctor (AYURVIDYA Programme):

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Ayurveda (BAMS) from recognized university. Candidates must be registered in the Ayurveda State Council of West Bengal
• Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Public Health Programme of Government/PSUs or Reputed private organisation. Exposure in social sector scheme/Govt. Missions at National, State and District level. Working in Health sector including AYUSH, Computer knowledge including MS Office-MS Word, MS Power Point, MS-Excel

For AYUSH Doctor (Mobile Medical Unit Programme):

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Homoeopathy (BHMS) from a recognized university. Candidates must be registered in the Homoeopathy State Councilof West Bengal
• Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Public Health Programme of Government/PSUs or Reputed private organisation. Exposure in social sectorschemes/Govt.Missions at National, State and District level. Working in Health sector including AYUSH, Computer knowledge including MS Office- MS Word, MS Power Point, MSExcel

For AYUSH Doctor (Lymphatic Filariasis Programme):

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Homoeopathy (BHMS) from recognized university. Candidates must be registered in the Homoeopathy State council of West Bengal

For Multi-Purpose Worker (All Programmes):

• Essential Qualification: Graduate from any Recognized University and have completed at least 1 year Diploma Course in Computer (including MS Office, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel) from Govt. registered Institution
• Desirable Qualification: Exposure in social sector schemes/Govt. Missions at National, State and District level

For Yoga Instructor (Male & Female):

• Essential Qualification:
  1. Secondary/Madhyamik passed with certificate/Diploma in Yoga affiliated by the West Bengal council of Yoga and Naturopathy (WBCYN). The candidates must be registered with WBCYN
  2. Candidates must be a permanent resident of West Bengal

Salary/Stipend

• AYUSH Doctor: Rs. 40,000/- per month (for all three programmes)
• Multi-Purpose Worker: Rs. 15,000/- per month (for all three programmes)
• Yoga Instructor - Male: Rs. 8,000/- fixed + 32 sessions @ Rs. 250/- per session
• Yoga Instructor - Female: Rs. 5,000/- fixed + 20 sessions @ Rs. 250/- per session

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

For AYUSH Doctor:

• Age Range: 21 Years to 50 Years
• D.O.B should be within 01.01.1975 to 01.01.2004

For Multi-Purpose Worker:

• Age Range: 21 Years to 40 Years
• D.O.B should be within 01.01.1985 to 01.01.2004

For Yoga Instructor (Male & Female):

• Age Range: 18 Years to 40 Years
• D.O.B should be within 01.01.1985 to 01.01.2007

Application Fee

Important Notes on Application Fee:

• Application fees have to be paid online
• The amount is non-refundable for all candidates
• After submission, the printed applied form along with the copy of UPI payment with UTR no. must be retained with the applicant

Selection Process

For AYUSH Doctor:

• Total Marks: 100
  • 85 marks based on % of marks obtained in the total BHMS/BAMS examination
  • 15 marks as Experience in Public Health/Professional experience from recognized organization will be calculated as 1 mark for each completed year up to 5 years
  • 2 marks for each completed year above 5 years totaling maximum up to 15
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
• Post documents verification for assessment process (if any) candidates will be called in 10:1 (sanctioned post) ratio
• Computer exam if any and for final interview (if any)
• The DLSC's decision is final in all phases of the candidate selection

For Multi-Purpose Worker:

• Total Marks: 100
  • 75 marks based on % of marks obtained in the final degree examination
  • 15 marks for Computer test
  • 10 Marks for Experience: 2 marks for each completed year of experience totaling maximum up to 10
• In computer test candidate has to obtain at least 50% marks, failing which can be treated as cancelled
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and interview

For Yoga Instructor:

• Total Marks: 50
  • 15 marks based on % of marks obtained in the total Secondary/Madhyamik examination (Proportionate marks will be considered)
  • 15 marks on Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Yoga
  • 10 marks on Demonstration and 10 marks on Interview
• Candidates will be called for document verification
• Merit list will be prepared and candidates will be called for computer test, demonstration, and interview

General Information/Instructions

• District Health & Family Welfare Samity, Bankura will engage personnel purely on contractual & temporary basis
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and must have knowledge of local languages
• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased if required, or recruitment process may be cancelled at any level as per decision of District level Selection Committee
• Only online applications will be accepted. Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete application forms are liable to be cancelled
• Candidates working in Government organisations must route their application through proper channel if their department rules requires so and produce NOC at the time of interview
• If the aggregate marks after final selection is equal then preference are to be given to the candidate inter se senior in age as on the 1st date of the year of publication of the advertisement
• Passport or Voter ID Card or AADHAAR Card will only be accepted as Photo cum Address proof
• The age proof certificate like Birth Certificate/Admit card (Madhyamik/Matric)/School leaving certificate issued by West Bengal Board/Secondary education or similar board will only be validated in proof of age
• Caste Category Certificate (if any), must be mentioned specifically in the caste certificate otherwise the candidate will be treated in "Unreserved" category
• All the above-mentioned qualification should be completed before the date of advertisement for the post
• Age is relaxable for all categories for ST/SC/OBC as per norms except for the post of AYUSH Doctor. Relaxation for age will be given for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GO norms
