DPSRU Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Only Indian nationals can apply. Most vacancies are deputation posts and require the candidate to hold an analogous post or possess the prescribed regular service in the relevant lower pay level.

Registrar

• Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
• At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above, including eight years in Academic Level 12 and above as an Associate Professor with experience in educational administration; or
• Comparable experience in a research establishment or higher-education institution; or
• Fifteen years of administrative experience, including eight years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Controller of Finance

Candidates must hold an analogous post or possess eight years of regular experience at Pay Level 12 as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post. Officers at Level 12 from the Indian Audit and Accounts Services or similar organised Central or State Government services with the required experience may also apply.

Assistant Registrar and OSD to VC

Officers must hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have four or five years of regular service in Pay Level 8 or Level 7 in the Central or State Government, university, autonomous body or PSU. Knowledge of computer applications is required.

Section Officer - Deputation

Applicants must hold an analogous post or possess two years of relevant experience in Level 7 or six years in Level 6. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent is required.

Section Officer - Direct Recruitment

• Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised university or institution.
• Two years of relevant experience in Level 7 or six years of relevant experience in Level 6 in the Central or State Government, university, PSU or autonomous institution.
• Postgraduate qualification, LLB, MBA, MCA, CA Intermediate or ICWA Intermediate is desirable.
• Knowledge of computers and office software is desirable.

Assistant Accounts Officer

Candidates must hold an analogous post or possess two years of relevant service in Level 7 or six years in Level 6. Knowledge of Tally and Excel is required.

Personal Secretary and Personal Assistant

• Bachelor's degree.
• Shorthand speed of 120 words per minute in English or Hindi.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute in English or Hindi.
• Data-entry speed of at least 8,000 key depressions per hour.
• A postgraduate degree or recognised computer qualification is desirable.

Computer Programmer

Officers must hold an analogous post or possess two years of service in Level 7 or six years of regular service in Level 6 in a government department, university, autonomous body or PSU.

Assistant Programmer

Candidates must hold an analogous post, have five years of relevant experience in Level 6 or ten years in Level 4, and possess a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in Computer Applications or Computer Science, MCA, M.Sc Computer Science, B.Tech IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Senior Technical Assistant

Candidates must hold an analogous post or have eight years of regular service in Level 5. They must possess a master's degree in MLT, Medical Laboratory Science or Biomedical Science, or a bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject with the prescribed laboratory experience. Registration with the applicable regulatory council is required.

Assistant Section Officer

Candidates must hold an analogous post or possess ten years of relevant experience in Level 4 or five years in Level 6. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent is required.

Security Officer

Officers must hold an analogous post in the Central or State Government, university, autonomous body or PSU, or possess five years of regular service in the relevant field at Level 6.

Junior Engineer (Civil)

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Technology with at least 50% marks; or
• Three-year diploma in Civil Engineering with three years of relevant experience.
• The prescribed deputation service conditions must also be fulfilled.

Electrician

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology with at least 50% marks; or
• Three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering with three years of relevant experience.
• Candidates must also meet the prescribed deputation-service requirement.

Physical Training Instructor

Officials must hold an analogous post or possess five years of regular service in the relevant field at Level 4 in a government department, university, autonomous body or PSU.

Technical Assistant

The six vacancies include four in MLT, one in Physiotherapy and one in Pharmacy. Applicants must hold an analogous post or have five years of relevant service in Level 4 along with the prescribed master's or bachelor's degree in MLT, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy or Pharmacy. Registration with the relevant regulatory council is required where applicable.

Senior Lab Assistant

Applicants must hold an analogous post or have eight years of regular service in Level 2. The qualification includes B.Pharm with at least 50% marks and two years of relevant experience, or a Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks and four years of relevant experience. Registration with the regulatory council is required.

Junior Stenographer

Candidates must hold an analogous post and possess a bachelor's degree, shorthand speed of 120 words per minute in English or Hindi and typing speed of 40 words per minute.

Senior Assistant

Candidates must hold an analogous post or possess six years of relevant experience in Level 2 in the Central or State Government, university, autonomous body or PSU.

Junior Assistant

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Data-entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour in English on a computer.
• The prescribed deputation conditions must also be fulfilled.

Lab Assistant

School of Pharmacy: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks, or Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks and two years of laboratory experience. Registration with the Pharmacy Council is required.

School of Allied Health Sciences: B.Sc in PCM, PCB, MLT, MLS, Biomedical Science, Allied Health Sciences or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or board.

Age Limit

The original notification states that the age and eligibility conditions will be determined as on 10 September 2026.

Selection Process

The DPSRU selection process may include:

• Application screening
• Written examination
• Skill test
• Interview
• Document verification

A shorthand and typing skill test will be conducted for Personal Secretary and Personal Assistant. Candidates who qualify in the skill test may be called for an interview.

How to Apply for DPSRU Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the DPSRU website at dpsru.edu.in.
2. Download the prescribed application form.
3. Fill in the application form digitally. Manually written forms, except for the forwarding note, will not be considered.
4. Attach self-attested copies of the date-of-birth proof, educational certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates and other applicable documents.
5. Submit a separate application for each post if applying for more than one vacancy.
6. Write “Application for the post of ______” on the envelope.
7. Send the completed application to the Registrar, DPSRU, before the applicable extended deadline.

Important Instructions

• Advance copies must reach DPSRU by 25 September 2026.
• Applications sent through the proper channel must reach by 12 October 2026.
• Soft copies and applications sent by email will not be considered.
• Government, semi-government, PSU and autonomous-organisation employees must apply through the proper channel.
• Applicants should keep an active email address because recruitment communication will be sent by email.
• Only Delhi OBC candidates covered under the applicable GNCTD orders will receive OBC reservation and age-relaxation benefits.
• Selected deputation candidates will initially be appointed for one year, extendable according to university requirements and rules.
