DSSSB TGT Computer Science Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
Selection will be made through One Tier Technical/Teaching Written Examination (Objective Type – Computer Based Test). There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of answer sheets. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong MCQ answer is applicable. In case the exam is held in multiple shifts, scores will be normalized using the DSSSB formula (Xn = (S2/S1)*(X–Xav) + Yav).
Stage 1 – Written Examination (One Tier Technical/Teaching – I-T-T)
The examination consists of 200 MCQ questions carrying 200 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. It is divided into two sections. Section-A covers General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension (20 marks each, total 100 questions/100 marks). Section-B covers subject-specific questions on Computer Science including questions on teaching methodology/B.Ed. (100 questions/100 marks). The exam will be bilingual (Hindi & English). Minimum qualifying marks: General/EWS – 40%; OBC (Delhi) – 35%; SC/ST/PwBD – 30%; Ex-Servicemen – 5% relaxation in respective category, subject to minimum 30%. Mandatory minimum qualifying marks apply only to Section-B (subject-specific); there is no separate minimum for Section-A. However, cumulative marks of both sections are used for the final merit list.
Tie-Breaking Criteria (One Tier Technical/Teaching posts)
In case of equal marks: first, the candidate securing more marks in Section-B (subject-specific) ranks higher; if still equal, the candidate senior in age ranks higher; if date of birth is also same, the candidate whose first name comes first in alphabetical order (English) ranks higher.
Stage 2 – Skill Test / Aptitude Test (if applicable)
Skill Test / Aptitude Test / Trade Test may be taken as per the requirement of the post as decided by the Board.
Stage 3 – Document Verification (e-Dossier)
Shortlisted candidates will be required to upload e-dossier (supporting documents) online within the given time period. No physical document submission is required initially. If any candidate fails to upload the e-dossier within the given period, the candidature shall not be considered and no further opportunity will be given on any ground. Final scrutiny of e-dossiers is carried out by the Directorate of Education as per the Recruitment Rules. Candidature will be cancelled without notice if any claim is found to be false or unsubstantiated.

Important Instructions for DSSSB TGT Computer Science Recruitment 2026 Candidates
- All eligibility conditions - educational qualification, age, experience, etc. - will be determined as on the cut-off date 15/07/2026.
- Only one online registration is permitted per candidate. Multiple registrations result in cancellation of all registrations and debarment from Board examinations.
- Only one online application is allowed per post code. If multiple applications are detected for Post Code 41/26, all applications will be rejected and the candidate will be debarred.
- Once the application is submitted, no change/correction/modification (including change of category) will be entertained under any circumstances through any mode (Post, Fax, Email, By hand, etc.).
- Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by GNCT of Delhi are entitled to OBC reservation/age relaxation. OBC candidates from other states will be treated as UR. However, note that OBC vacancies for Post Code 41/26 are zero - all OBC candidates must apply as UR.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong MCQ answer is applicable. Questions left unanswered do not attract negative marking.
- Candidates must follow the DSSSB dress code during examination: light clothes with half sleeves, Salwar/Trouser, and low-heeled slippers or sandals. Shoes are NOT allowed.
