Eligibility Criteria - Qualification & Experience Required
Each post carries specific educational and professional experience requirements. Read the details for your target role carefully, since 54.9% will not be rounded up to 55% and teaching/freelancing experience is explicitly excluded.
Assistant Manager – Civil (E-1)
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification executive experience. Gross annual CTC in last/current organisation must be at least ₹3,60,000 per annum.
- Required: Hands-on site construction experience in Civil/Structural works - Residential, Institutional, or Industrial projects.
- Preferred: Experience in PEB structures, piling works, and quality assurance.
- Age Limit: 32 years as on the last date of application.
Assistant Manager – Electrical (E-1)
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification executive experience. Gross annual CTC must be at least ₹3,60,000 per annum.
- Required: Site construction experience in LT/HT Electrical works - Residential, Institutional, or Industrial projects.
- Preferred: Experience in erection, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT Switchgears, Transformers, cables, Motors, and Compact Sub-stations.

Assistant Manager – Mechanical (E-1)
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.

- Required: Site construction experience in Mechanical works - Residential, Institutional, or Industrial projects.

Senior Manager – Civil (E-4)

Salary, Benefits & Contract Terms

Shortlisting & Selection Process
EPI uses a merit-based shortlisting process to filter applicants before calling them for interview. Understanding this process helps you assess your competitive standing before applying.
- Candidates are shortlisted based on percentage of marks in the required qualification and post-qualification experience.
- Fraction of percentage is ignored - 54.9% is treated as less than 55% and will lead to rejection.
- If applications are high in volume, EPI may conduct a Written Test before the interview stage.
- The shortlist will be published on the EPI website; selected candidates will also be informed by email.
- The final list of selected candidates will be hosted on the EPI website after the interview.

CGPA to Percentage Conversion - EPI's Official Rules
If your degree certificate shows CGPA instead of percentage, EPI has specific conversion norms you must follow when filling your application form.
- If the university provides a conversion formula: Use the university's own conversion and obtain a certificate from the university confirming the equivalent percentage. Submit this certificate at the time of interview.
- If the university does not provide a conversion formula: A minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale will be treated as equivalent to 60%. For scales other than 10-point, the score will be prorated accordingly.
