ESIC Andheri Vacancy 2026 Details

ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Andheri East intends to fill 76 posts across Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident and Tutor cadres. As per the notification, these vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease based on actual teaching and patient-care requirements.

ESIC Andheri Recruitment 2026 Salary

Pay is fixed as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with Basic Pay plus other allowances (DA, NPA, TA, HRA, etc.) as applicable.

Retired employees/pensioners engaged on contract may draw total pay without deduction, as this is not treated as re-employment under the Central Civil Services (Fixation of Pay of Re-employed Pensioner) Orders, 1986, and they can continue to draw pension and dearness relief during the contract period.

ESIC Andheri Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

• Selection is based on the candidate's acquired academic credentials and performance in the interview before the Selection Board.
• The result will be displayed in the Recruitment section of www.esic.gov.in.
• The Offer of Appointment will be sent through e-mail only.
• Selected candidates must join as per the instructions in the offer of appointment; if a selected candidate does not join within the prescribed time, the offer will be issued to the waitlisted candidate.

Terms of Contract

• The engagement is for 1 (one) year, extendable up to 3 (three) years, subject to satisfactory performance, or till attainment of 68 years of age, whichever is earlier.
• The contract may be terminated from either side with one month's prior notice; in case of spot resignation, one month's salary must be deposited to the ESI account.
• No service benefits such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority, or Promotion will be admissible.
• Absence from work beyond 7 days without permission will be treated as voluntary abandonment and result in automatic termination.
• Faculty must mark attendance manually as well as on the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) daily.
• No private practice is allowed in any capacity after joining as teaching faculty/Senior Resident.
