ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
The crucial date for determining age limit, work experience, and other eligibility criteria shall be the date of Walk-in-Interview for the concerned department. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Central Government rules in force. Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure as Senior Resident in any Government Institution need not apply. Senior Resident already working in any Government Institution can apply only after obtaining NOC from the respective institute. The total period, however, should not exceed the maximum period of three years.

Candidates must report between 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM at the Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata – 700104 for document verification. Candidates reporting beyond 10:30 AM will NOT be considered. At the time of the interview, candidates must submit the completed Application Form (Annexure-I) and Verification Slip (Annexure-II) along with all original documents and one set of self-attested copies.

Important Instructions for ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 Candidates
- Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure as Senior Resident in any Government Institution need NOT apply.
- Senior Residents already working in any Government Institution must obtain NOC from the respective institute before applying. The total period shall not exceed 3 years including any previous service.
- Candidates on bond are NOT eligible to apply; candidates who have completed compulsory post-PG Bond Service must produce a Bond Clearance Certificate from Appointing Authority.
- Candidates must report between 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM - those reporting beyond 10:30 AM will not be considered under any circumstances.
- The Demand Draft for application fee must be issued after the date of this advertisement (11.05.2026); DDs issued before this date will not be accepted.
- A security deposit of Rs. 32,000/- by Demand Draft must be paid at the time of joining; it will not be refunded if the Senior Resident terminates the agreement in between the engagement period.
- Private practice of any kind is strictly not allowed during the engagement period.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for joining or for any other purpose.
- For Non-Medical candidates, Non-Practicing Allowances (NPA) will be deducted from the consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,48,669/-.
