Eligibility Criteria

• Project Associate-I (Post 1): Essential Qualification : First class M.Sc. in Botany/Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Ecology/ Forestry.
• Project Associate-I (Post 2): Essential Qualification : First class M.Sc. in Botany or First Class M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Seed Science & Technology.
• Project Assistant (Post 3): Essential Qualification : B.Sc. in Botany/Plant Science/Forestry/ Environmental Science.
• Project Assistant (Post 4): Essential Qualification : B.Sc. in Forestry/ Botany/ Environmental Science.
• Junior Research Fellow (Post 5): Essential Qualification : First class M.Sc. in Forestry. Desirable Qualification : Management of weeds/ invasive species, Plantation management, ecology.

Salary / Stipend

• Project Associate-I: 31,000/- + 18% HRA (NET/GATE qualified scholars); 25,000/- + HRA (others)
• Project Assistant: 20,000/- + 18% HRA
• Junior Research Fellow: 20,000/-

Age Limit 

• Maximum Age for Project Associate-I: 35 years
• Maximum Age for Junior Research Fellow: 28 years
• Age relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST, OBC, Women, Physically Handicapped

• Fellowship governed by ICFRE rules; no guarantee of subsequent employment.
• Candidates who completed 4 years as RA/SRF/SPF/JRF/JPF not considered for JRF/JPF.
• Ph.D. period and teaching experience not counted as research experience.
• If already working, bring NOC from last institute.
• Director reserves right to increase/decrease/cancel posts without notice.
• In case of discrepancy, English version of advertisement is standard.
• Tenure: Initially for project duration or completion/funds availability (whichever earlier); extendable per ICFRE rules.
• No TA/DA for interview; no separate call letter issued.
• Bring bio-data, photo, self-attested certificates/documents for registration.
