• A Master's degree with at least 60% marks in a relevant field with a Bachelor's in Fisheries Science is required.
• A 5% relaxation in marks is available for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Disabled candidates.
• NET/SLET is an essential qualification, but it is waived for Ph.D. holders who have completed coursework and have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of 4 or higher.
• Candidates with a Master's degree must have NET/SLET and one publication in a NAAS-related refereed journal.
