ICAR-IARI Senior Research Fellow Emoluments Details
Emoluments: ₹42,000 + 30% HRA per month (as per DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26 June 2023).
Additional Benefits:
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per rules. Hostel accommodation may be provided wherever available (in such cases HRA will not be admissible).
- Medical facilities as per ICAR norms.
- No other allowances or benefits (like Dearness Allowance, Pension, etc.) are admissible as this is a purely contractual/project position.
- Salary is consolidated and subject to periodic performance review.
Note: Emoluments may be revised as per latest GoI/ICAR/DST guidelines during the project duration.

ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection for the Senior Research Fellow position will be done through the following process:
- Screening of Applications Applications received will be screened based on eligibility criteria, academic performance, relevant research experience, and publications. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.
- Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for online or in-person interview at IARI, New Delhi. The exact date, time, and mode will be communicated through email. Candidates are advised to regularly check their email (including spam folder).
- Document Verification Selected/wait-listed candidates will have to produce all original documents (educational certificates, experience letters, NET/GATE scorecard, caste certificate if applicable, etc.) for verification before issuance of the offer letter.
- Final Result The final result of the interview will be published on the official IARI website under the section “News > Contractual Jobs > View Results”.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The decision of the Selection Committee / Joint Director (Research), ICAR-IARI will be final and binding.
