ICAR-IIMR SRF, YP-II, YP-I Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

• SRF, YP-II, YP-I for projects in Breeding, Molecular Breeding, Genomics/Bioinformatics, Project Management, Physiology
• Total Vacancies: 05
• Project Tenure: Till 31st March 2026 (extendable as per project requirements/funding)
• Location: ICAR-IIMR, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030
• Some posts may be project-dependent (see detailed notification for division-wise posts)

Eligibility Criteria

• SRF: Master’s degree in relevant subject (e.g., Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences/Plant Molecular Biology/Agribusiness, etc.) with 4-year bachelor’s or NET-qualified 3-year bachelor’s + 2-year PG or Ph.D.
• YP-II: Master’s degree in relevant discipline (see above), 3-year bachelor’s without NET also eligible
• YP-I: Graduate in relevant subject (if posts open; check detailed notification)
• Desirable: Experience in NGS, molecular markers, bioinformatics software, R, gene expression, marker-assisted breeding (for relevant streams); project management skills for YP roles
• For Project Management: PG in Agri Business Mgt, Agri Economics, Business Administration, etc.; relevant project/HR/organizational skills

ICAR-IIMR SRF, YP-II, YP-I Age Limit

• SRF: Maximum 35 years for men, 40 years for women (as on interview date), relaxation as per GoI norms
• YP-II & YP-I: Maximum 45 years (as on interview date), relaxation as per GoI norms

Salary/Stipend

• SRF: Rs. 37,000 + HRA per month (1st, 2nd year), Rs. 42,000 + HRA per month (3rd year)
• YP-II: Rs. 42,000 (consolidated, no HRA)
• YP-I: Rs. 30,000 (if advertised; check project-wise openings)
• Tenure: Up to 31-03-2026, extendable as per project need/funding
