Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline or M.Tech. 1st Class or equivalent or M.Sc. in science or engineering or MSR or equivalent with 6 years Experience from a recognized university/board to apply for IIT Delhi Principal Project Scientist positions.

Salary/Stipend

The consolidated fellowship/pay-slab for the Principal Project Scientist position is as follows:

• Pay Scale: Rs.75,600 - 77,870 - 80,210 - 82,620 - 85,100 - 87,650 - 90,280 - 92,900 - 95,780 - 98,650 - 1,01,610/- per month
• Additional Allowance: Plus HRA @30%
• Nature of Appointment: Contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier

Special Note for Retired Employees: In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
