The total number of vacancies for IIT Dharwad Various Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 is 07 posts. Post-wise vacancy distribution is as follows as per the notification.

• Assistant Registrar (on Deputation): 01 post (Administrative, Level 10)
• Junior Superintendent: 01 post (Administrative, Level 6)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Assistant Registrar (on Deputation) – Post Code 1: Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA, holding analogous post or at least 4 years regular service as Senior Superintendent in Pay Level 8 or equivalent, with relevant experience in areas such as Finance & Accounts, Establishment, Materials Management, Academics, Student Welfare, R&D, Secretarial Services, Hostel Management, Legal, Contracts or similar.
• Junior Superintendent – Post Code 2: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and minimum 5 years experience at clerical/supervisory level after degree in relevant administrative areas; duration of full-time Master’s degree (maximum 2 years) is counted towards experience.
• Junior Superintendent (Security) – Post Code 3: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and at least 5 years experience in Police/Para Military Forces/Armed Forces or security services in reputed organizations/Institutes in areas such as Firefighting, Electronic Surveillance, Crowd Management, Protocol, etc., conversant with security rules and procedures and possessing valid driving licence for light motor vehicle and motor cycle; full-time Master’s duration (max 2 years) counted towards experience.
• Senior Engineer (Civil) (on Deputation) – Post Code 4: Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA or B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in Civil with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (including integrated M.Tech/M.E.) and at least 6 years regular service as Junior Engineer in Pay Level 6 or equivalent.
• Technical Officer (CCS) – Post Code 5: B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering or allied fields with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade point and relevant experience of six years after qualifying degree in Level 6 or three years experience in Level 7 and above or equivalent; duration of full-time M.Tech/M.E. (max 2 years) and Ph.D. (max 3 years) counted towards experience as specified.
• Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE) – Post Code 6: Three-year Diploma in CSE or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 6 years relevant experience after diploma, or Bachelor Degree (other than B.Tech/B.E.) in Computer Science/Computer Applications or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 5 years relevant experience after degree, or B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent in CSE/Information Science or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 3 years relevant experience; duration of full-time Master’s degree (max 2 years) counted towards experience.

2. Age Limit

The upper age limit for IIT Dharwad Various Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 is post-wise as follows:

• Assistant Registrar (on Deputation): Upper Age Limit – 56 Years
• Junior Superintendent: Upper Age Limit – 34 Years
• Junior Superintendent (Security): Upper Age Limit – 34 Years
• Senior Engineer (Civil) (on Deputation): Upper Age Limit – 50 Years
• Technical Officer (CCS): Upper Age Limit – 42 Years

Application Fee

• Application fee: ₹500/- (including GST), payable only through State Bank e-collect facility using the link provided in the online application.
• The fee is non-refundable and no other mode of payment is accepted.
• PWD (with minimum 40% disability), Ex-servicemen, SC/ST, Women applicants and current regular employees of IIT Dharwad are exempted from payment of application fee.

Salary/Stipend

• Posts are governed by 7th CPC Pay Levels with admissible Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance as per Government of India rules and as applicable at Dharwad, Karnataka.
• Post-wise pay levels: Assistant Registrar – Level 10; Junior Superintendent – Level 6; Junior Superintendent (Security) – Level 6; Senior Engineer (Civil) – Level 8; Technical Officer (CCS) – Level 10; Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE) – Level 6.

Age Limit

• SC & ST: Relaxation of 5 years against reserved posts only.
• OBC (NCL): Relaxation of 3 years against reserved posts only.
• ESM and PwBD: Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
• Current regular employees of IIT Dharwad: Additional relaxation of 5 years.
• Eligibility in terms of age is considered as on the last date of closing of online application.

Selection Process

• For Pay Level 6 & 8: Selection procedure for direct recruitment may consist of Written Test I (compulsory for all such posts) and Written Test II (conducted at the discretion of the Selection Committee based on nature of the post). Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in Written Test I are shortlisted for Written Test II wherever conducted.
• If Written Test II is not conducted, selection is based on marks scored in Written Test I. If Written Test II is conducted, final selection is based on aggregate marks of both tests with weightage of 20%–40% for Written Test I and 80%–60% for Written Test II (weightage to be intimated in call letters).
• For Pay Level 10: A Written Test/other evaluation process may be conducted and is qualifying in nature, followed by Interview. Final selection is based on performance in the Interview only.
