Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: PhD (graduated or thesis submitted) in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace Engineering and allied fields. Also, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th
- Desirable: Knowledge of Low-Reynolds number flows, Numerical Methods, Analytical tools (such as asymptotic methods) is desirable. Computer programming skills in either MATLAB or Python are required.
- Experience: The research group has experience in Physics-Based analytical and numerical modeling and a bit of experimentation on flow and transport problems related to micro- and millifluidic applications, porous media and the broad domain of energy and sustainability related to buildings in Indian climate.
Salary/Stipend
- Rs. 72,000/- to Rs. 84,000/- per month (consolidated).

- Job Description and Expectations The research group has experience in Physics-Based analytical and numerical modeling and a bit of experimentation on flow and transport problems related to micro- and millifluidic applications, porous media and the broad domain of energy and sustainability related to buildings in Indian climate. The group is looking for a suitable candidate to implement sophisticated numerical codes related to micro/millifluidic applications with a particular emphasis on particle motion through viscous fluids. He/She is expected to contribute to the ongoing research projects in the group and help explore new research directions.
