- Essential Qualification:
- B. Tech./B.E. in electrical engineering or electrical and electronics engineering with GATE score in GATE paper code EE/EC/IN and with 2 years of experience after B.Tech.
- M.Tech. / M.E. in electrical engineering (preferably in the specializations electric drives, power electronics and drives, electric vehicles and allied areas of power engineering) with GATE score in GATE paper code EE/EC/IN.
- Desirable:
- Experience in finite element modelling of electrical machines or electric drives or power electronic drives
Salary/ Stipend
- Rs. 42,000/- per month.

- Nature of work: Analytical modelling and finite element design of a tubular permanent magnet linear generator, fabrication and experimental validation in the electrical machines laboratory.
- Project Title: “Tubular Permanent Magnet Linear Generator for Ocean Wave Energy Conversion” sponsored by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) at School of Electrical Sciences, IIT Goa.
- Duration of Appointment: One year, further extension based on performance and availability of funding.
