Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E./B.E.E. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a reputed college/university in EE/ECE GATE paper. OR M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems/Energy Sciences/Power & Energy Systems/Control Systems/Power Electronics/Machine Drives & Power Electronics from a recognized university. Selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC, NET, Including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc. IISER, NISER etc.
- Relevant Experience: The candidate is required to excellent programming skills in Python or MATLAB and have past-experience in either of power systems, control and optimization. For B.Tech: Overall CGPA/CPI of 6.5 or above in a scale of 10 or a percentage marks of 60% or above in EE/ECE GATE paper is preferred. For M.Tech: Overall CGPA/CPI of 6.3 or above in a scale of 10 or a percentage marks of 60% or above in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems/Energy Sciences/Power & Energy Systems/Control Systems/Power Electronics/Machine Drives & Power Electronics from a recognized university is preferred. N.B. A small relaxation in age limit may be considered, in the case of applicants who are suitably qualified and experienced, on the recommendation of the selection committee.
