- B. Tech. (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering AND
- M. Tech. (or equivalent) in Power Electronics and Drives (or equivalent)/ Power Electronics/ Control Systems Engineering/Power System Engineering/Electrical Machines AND
- 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout AND
- GATE Qualified in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
