Eligibility Criteria for IIT Patna JRF 2025
1. Educational Qualification
- M.Tech in VLSI/Embedded System/Microelectronics/Electronics/Communication/CS with valid GATE (within last 5 years) and minimum 60% or 6.5 CPI
- OR B.Tech/M.Sc (EE/EC/IN/CS) with minimum 70% or 7.5 CPI + valid GATE (within last 5 years)
- GATE exemption for B.Tech from IITs/CFTIs with 7.5+ CPI
- Preference: Experience in VLSI, Embedded System, Computer Architecture, Machine Learning, EDA tools
2. Age Limit
- M.Tech candidates: Maximum 32 years
- B.Tech/M.Sc candidates: Maximum 28 years (as on 21.11.2025)
- Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD as per GOI norms
