Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have:

• A valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 score + qualifying degree (B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc./MCA etc.) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA (55% or 5.5 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD).

• B.Tech graduates from IITs with CGPA 8.0 or above (7.5 for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible without GATE in many programmes.

Application Process (Step-by-Step)

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting is based on GATE performance. Final admission offers are made through COAP 2026. Candidates can choose Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait, or Reject & Wait options on COAP. No separate written test/interview is conducted for the regular GATE-based process.
