Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Maximum age for Young Professional (Grade-2) is 30 years as on the date of receipt of application.
• Essential qualifications are post-specific and include combinations of BE/B.Tech with MBA/PGDM, MBA/PGDM with Science/Engineering, and LLM as detailed for each position in Annexure-I.
• Candidates must possess the required minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in relevant domains such as Government Ministries/Departments, geospatial/space technologies, trade and policy, strategy and planning, IT development, or legal work as specified.
• Experience must be post-qualification and in roles like Young Professional, Consultant, Management Trainee, Management Consultant or equivalent in Ministry/Department of Government of India or its attached/subordinate/autonomous bodies where explicitly stated.
• Applicants must meet all eligibility conditions and provide valid documents for educational qualifications, experience and identity during document verification; incorrect or false information will lead to cancellation of candidature and appropriate action as per rules.

Salary/Stipend

• Consolidated remuneration for Young Professional (Grade-2) is Rs. 90,000/- per month, subject to applicable professional tax/TDS.
• No additional allowances or facilities are admissible beyond the consolidated fee, except TA/DA as per entitlement of Level-10/11 Central Government employee for official travel.
• An annual increment of up to 10% may be granted after completion of one year of tenure, based on satisfactory performance and contribution, with specific parameters of 0%, 5% or 10% linked to performance assessment.

• Maximum age limit for Young Professional (Grade-2) is 30 years as on the date of receipt of application.
• The notification does not specify category-wise age relaxations; candidates must adhere strictly to the indicated maximum age limit.

Selection Process

• Applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted based on marks obtained in educational qualifications and period of effective experience, as per criteria in Annexure-II.
• Out of 100% index, 50% weightage is given to educational qualifications (from Class 12th to Post Graduate/MBA) and 20% to relevant post-qualification experience; remaining 30% weightage is based on performance in interview.
• Marks of best 5 subjects in 12th standard and final examination marks for BE/B.Tech/MBA will be considered; percentage must be specified up to two decimal places without rounding.
• Candidates having CGPA must provide conversion formula during document verification; failure may result in cancellation of candidature.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by a duly constituted panel; final merit list will be prepared by combining scrutiny marks (70%) and interview score (30%).
• Mere empanelment in the final merit list does not confer any right to selection; original documents will be verified at joining and any discrepancy will lead to cancellation.

General Information/Instructions

• Applications must be submitted only through the IN-SPACe Digital Platform (IDP); no other mode of submission will be accepted.
• Incomplete applications or those not meeting the eligibility criteria will be summarily rejected without communication.
• Candidates called for interview must bring original documents and one set of self-attested copies related to educational and professional qualifications, experience and photo ID proof for verification.
• The engagement is purely contractual, project-specific and does not confer any right to claim permanent employment or future engagement with IN-SPACe or Government of India.
• IN-SPACe reserves the right not to engage any person, to revise terms and conditions of engagement, and to reject any application without assigning reasons.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview; TA/DA is applicable only for official duties during engagement as per rules.
• Young Professionals are governed by the Official Secrets Act, 1923, must sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, and must not publish or communicate official information without prior sanction.
• Engagement may be terminated by IN-SPACe at any time by giving 15 days’ notice or pay in lieu, and Young Professionals may also disengage with similar notice.
• Engagement does not create any claim for subsequent employment in IN-SPACe or any Government organization; service is transferable anywhere in India as required.

How to Apply

• Candidates must apply online through the IN-SPACe Digital Platform (IDP) available at https://www.inspace.gov.in.
• Applications have to be submitted in the prescribed Application Proforma available on the digital platform, complete in all respects, within 30 days from the date of advertisement and no later than 19/01/2026.
• No other means of application (offline, email, hard copy) will be entertained.
• Applicants must upload/enter accurate details of educational qualifications, professional qualifications, work experience and valid contact information (e-mail ID and mobile number).
• All candidates called for interview must bring one set of self-attested copies and originals of relevant documents including educational certificates, professional qualification proof, experience certificates and photo ID.
• Selected candidates must submit police verification and medical-cum-fitness certificate from authorized medical practitioner; in urgent cases, they may join subject to submission of police verification within two months.
• All communication regarding screening, interview schedule and further instructions will be made only through registered e-mail and notices on the IN-SPACe website; no postal communication will be sent.
