JIPMER Senior Resident Recruitment July 2026 – Selection Process
Selection is based on a Written Test (Stage-I) followed by Interview (Stage-II). The final merit list is prepared based on 80% weightage to Written Test marks and 20% weightage to Interview marks. In case of equal marks, the elder candidate (earlier date of birth) will be ranked higher. A waiting list will be maintained and operated only if necessary; being on the waiting list provides no guarantee of appointment.

Stage-II: Interview
The Interview carries 20 marks based on performance, prizes, medals, awards, paper publications, etc. Certificate Verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates on the same day (from 08:00 AM). Shortlisted candidates must report at Room No. G-104, Ground Floor, Administrative Block, JIPMER at 01:30 PM for the Interview at 02:00 PM. Candidates whose certificates are not found in order will not be permitted to appear for the Interview.

Registration must be completed on or before 29-06-2026, 04:30 PM. Candidates who fail to register before the deadline may also participate subject to submitting the Google Form and paying the prescribed fee on the morning of the Written Test (02-07-2026 to 04-07-2026) before 08:30 AM.

Important Instructions for JIPMER Senior Resident Recruitment July 2026 Candidates
- Mere completion of registration and payment does not confer any right for appointment.
- The full name in the application must match exactly (spelling and order) with the Government Photo ID and undergraduate Degree Certificate. If there is a mismatch, get it rectified before applying.
- Applications without prescribed fee or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. No correspondence/reconsideration for rejected applications.
- The application once submitted is FINAL. No changes will be entertained. If an error is found, a fresh application with a new fee payment must be submitted; the earlier application will stand cancelled automatically.
- OBC (NCL) Certificate must be in Central Government format (Annexure-I), must mention "does not belong to Creamy Layer", and must be issued in the current financial year.
- EWS Certificate must be in the format prescribed (Annexure-III) and must be valid (current FY 2026-27).

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or interview.
- Selected candidates must join within 15 days of offer of appointment. Extension of 14 days may be granted in exceptional cases. No further extension will be permitted.
