JMI Admission 2026-27 Application Fee
The application fee can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. It is non-refundable once received successfully, except in cases of failed transactions identified at the university's end. Transgender candidates are exempt from both the application fee and the programme fee.
JMI Admission 2026-27 Selection Process
- Merit-based selection: Applicable to most UG and PG programmes (BAG, BBA, BCOM, MA courses, M.Com, PG Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, and Advanced Diploma programmes), based on the qualifying examination.
- Entrance test: Applicable to B.Ed. (ODL) and MBA (ODL). The entrance test is a 2-hour, 100-question multiple-choice exam held only in Delhi, with one mark per correct answer and no negative marking.
- Qualifying marks + interview: Applicable to MBA (OL) and B.Sc. (Biosciences) - ODL. Selection is based on 70 marks weightage from qualifying exam marks and 30 marks from a personal interview.
B.Ed. Entrance Test Syllabus

Total intake for B.Ed. is 500 seats (50 at each of the 10 Learner Support Centres).

Total intake for MBA (ODL) is 300 seats (50 each at IIMT Rohtak, Haryana, and Jhankar College of Education, Gurugram, Haryana).
How to Apply for JMI Admission 2026-27
- Create an Academic Bank of Credit ID (ABC ID) and a UGC DEB ID before starting the application, as both are required during registration.
- Visit the official CDOE admission portal at jmicoe.in.
- Register using a valid, active email ID (JMI may use this email for future communication).
- Complete the registration form and verify the email link sent to the registered email address to receive the login credentials.
- Log in with the email address and password, and select the desired programme(s).
- Fill in the application form and upload a color passport-size photograph (white background, maximum 100KB, JPG/JPEG) and a scanned signature (maximum 100KB, JPG/JPEG).
- Use the preview option to verify all entries before final submission. Corrections are allowed for all fields except "Name" and "Date of Birth" before confirming submission.
- Pay the applicable application fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the confirmation for future reference.
- Check application status anytime by logging in at jmicoe.in.
Important Instructions for JMI Admission 2026-27
- No application form will be accepted after the last date of submission, i.e., 10 August 2026.
- There is no provision for a printed/offline application form; applications must be submitted online only.
- Candidates submitting more than one application form for the same programme risk rejection.
- Candidates whose qualifying examination results have not yet been declared may still apply but must submit the required certificates within the given time period, or their admission will be cancelled.
- Filling out the online form and receiving an admit card does not guarantee admission; document verification and fee payment are mandatory to complete the process.
- Submission of forged or fake documents will lead to legal/criminal proceedings.
- Candidates are advised to regularly check the official CDOE website for admission-related notices, as the university reserves the right to modify prospectus provisions through addendum/corrigendum.
- Foreign nationals cannot enroll in ODL programmes; only learners residing in India may enroll in ODL mode, as per UGC regulations. Foreign/NRI students and diplomats should refer to the separate fee structure and application process detailed in the official prospectus.
