How to Check Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment Result 2026

  1. Open cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Go to the PGCET 2026 counselling section.
  3. Click the seat allotment result link for the relevant round.
  4. Log in with your CET number and the credentials on your claim slip.
  5. View the allotted college, course and the category under which the seat was given.
  6. Download and save the allotment result. Take a printout for your records.
  7. Note the deadline shown for exercising your choice. It is usually short.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • A rank does not guarantee a seat. Allotment depends on the roster, your options and actual seat availability.
  • Read your mock allotment against your own option list. Receiving your ninth option tells you the eight above it are closing at better ranks than yours. Receiving your first tells you something entirely different. The screen looks the same either way.
  • A mock result is not a promise. Every candidate edits options after the mock, so demand shifts. A seat shown in the mock can move away, and a college that did not appear can arrive in the real round.
  • Do not shorten your option list. If the portal allows more eligible options, enter them. A wider, correctly ordered list improves your chances without any downside.
  • Enter options in genuine preference order. The roster reads your list top-down and stops at the first seat it can give you.
  • Report within the deadline. Candidates who do not report to the allotted institute by the date on the allotment letter are themselves liable for cancellation of the seat.
  • Ignore unofficial dates. Where an outlet publishes a date that does not appear in a KEA notice, treat it as unconfirmed until the portal says otherwise.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Counselling Round 1 Schedule - FAQs

Q1. What was the Karnataka PGCET 2026 option entry last date?

The Round 1 option entry window closed at 6:00 PM on 15 September 2026. The claim slip download closed earlier the same day, at 2:00 PM. Both deadlines have now passed for Round 1.

Q2. When will the Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result be released?

KEA has not confirmed a seat allotment date in an official notice. Some education portals have reported 19 September 2026 for the provisional Round 1 result, but this is unverified. Check cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for the official announcement.

Q3. I missed the option entry deadline. What happens now?

Candidates who did not submit options within the window are not considered in Round 1 allotment. Your rank remains valid, so watch for the Round 2 notification, which KEA usually issues after Round 1 reporting closes. Round 2 will have its own option entry window.

Q4. Can I change my options after submitting them?

KEA ordinarily reopens the option list for a short window after the mock allotment result, allowing candidates to add, delete and reorder choices. KEA has not announced the mock allotment date or the modification window for this cycle.

Q5. Is the mock allotment result the same as the final seat allotment?

No. The mock allotment is a simulation based on options submitted at that moment. Candidates across the state edit their options afterwards, which shifts demand for every seat. A mock seat can be lost and an unallotted college can come through in the real round.
