Eligibility Criteria
- Telephone Operator: Plus Two or equivalent. Diploma in Electronics awarded by an Institution recognized by the Government. Six months experience as Telephone Operator/Receptionist and in Computer Operation.
- Binder: Pass in Standard VIH or equivalent.
- Helper: S.S.L.C. or equivalent. I.T.I. Certificate or equivalent in the trade of Electrical Engineering.
- Duplicator Operator: S.S.L.C. or equivalent
- Attender Grade II: S.S.L.C. or equivalent
Age Limit
- For Scheduled Castes Candidates: Born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply
- Age Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen: Candidates who are Ex-serviceman or Ex-General Reserve Engineer Force person or a disembodied Territorial Army person can exclude the period of service in defence forces and period of unemployment on discharge up to a maximum of five years, provided they have not completed the age of 50 years
- Age Relaxation for Differently Abled: Up to 15 years for candidates belonging to Blindness and Low Vision categories and 10 years to candidates belonging to other categories of disabilities, subject to upper age limit not exceeding 50 years
- Age Relaxation for Widows: Up to 5 years will be granted to widows subject to the condition that upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years

Selection Process
- Selection Method: Selection will be on the basis of Interview OR Written Test & Interview having regard to the number of candidates
- Written Test (if conducted): Objective type multiple choice pattern with 75 minutes duration consisting of three sections (Total 100 marks):
- Questions based on syllabus related to Diploma in Electronics - 50 marks
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs - 30 marks
- Questions to test proficiency in English language - 20 marks
- Number of Questions: 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark
- Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted
- Interview: Total marks for Interview shall be 10
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidate must secure minimum 35% marks in the Interview to be considered for inclusion in the ranked list
- Examination Centre: Written Test (if conducted) will be held at Ernakulam
General Information/Instructions
- This is a No Candidate Available (NCA) recruitment notification exclusively for Scheduled Castes community candidates in Kerala
- Applications from candidates belonging to other communities will be summarily rejected
- Candidates must complete One Time Registration before applying for the post
- All communications will be sent through email and SMS only
- Candidates should possess a valid email ID which should be kept active
- Documents in original to prove age, qualification, community etc. should be produced as and when called for
- The Caste/Community Certificate which is valid on the date of closure of application or on the date of certificate verification shall be produced to claim reservation benefits
- Differently abled candidates claiming age relaxation shall produce Job oriented physical and functionality certification as per G.O.(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023
- Government employees must obtain No Objection Certificate/Service Certificate from their Head of Office
- Candidates should ensure they fulfill eligibility norms before applying
- Furnishing incorrect/false information or suppression of material facts will lead to cancellation of candidature
- Canvassing in any form will entail cancellation of candidature
- High Court reserves the right to modify or cancel the notification at any stage
- Decisions of High Court regarding eligibility and selection would be final and binding
