KSMCL Recruitment 2026: Walk-In Interview for 50 Engineer, Mine Foreman, Blaster & Electrician Posts

Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited (KSMCL), a Government of Karnataka undertaking, has issued a corrigendum notification dated 17.07.2026 for walk-in interviews to fill 50 contract posts across its mines and units in Karnataka. The posts include Assistant Manager, Assistant Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Junior Engineer, Mine Foreman, Mine Mate, Blaster, Survey Assistant, Electrician (ITI) and Blasting Helper. KSMCL Vacancy Details 2026

KSMCL will fill a total of 50 posts on contract basis across 14 categories. The post-wise vacancy breakup is given below.

Eligibility

• The notification does not state a separate nationality/citizenship clause in the eligibility conditions. However, the prescribed application format includes a field asking candidates to confirm whether they are a citizen of India (by birth/domicile) and, if not, to state their nationality.

• Electrician (ITI) (Technician Grade-II): ₹21,000 per month
• Blasting Helper: ₹18,350 per month

These are consolidated monthly remuneration figures as stated in the notification. The notification also clarifies that contract employees will not be entitled to separate monthly allowances such as House Rent Allowance and Conveyance Allowance, except Dust/Risk Allowance. If an employee is required to travel outside the place of working for official work, the company will reimburse actual travel cost and daily allowance as per applicable company rules.

Selection Process

• Selection will be made on merit-cum-performance basis.

• Performance in the Walk-In Interview will be assessed.

Required Documents

The notification states that candidates must bring the following to the walk-in interview:

• Duly filled application form (to be filled in the candidate's own handwriting, as per the prescribed format on the KSMCL website).

How to Apply

Important Instructions

• Candidates attending the walk-in interview will not be paid any TA/DA and must make their own arrangements.
• Only candidates possessing the required criteria mentioned against each post are eligible to attend the walk-in interview.
• The contract employee will be stationed at the place of working but is required to visit/work at any of the Mines/Quarries owned by the company across the state during the contract period.
• The contract employee will not be eligible for other facilities such as residential telephone, medical reimbursement, personal support employee, and transport facilities.
• In case of accident/injury on duty, medical facilities will be extended as per company rules.
• The contract employee is eligible for 10 days Casual Leave and 9 days Sick Leave in a calendar year, credited only after completion of each month/stipulated period. Unavailed leave cannot be carried forward to the next calendar year, except that Casual Leave accrued for December can be availed within January of the next year.
• Statutory taxes will be deducted at source as per prevailing rules before payment of remuneration.
• The contract employee shall not, in any case, work for or represent any party in court or before any authority/tribunal, or give opinion/advice to any person other than the company during the engagement period.
• The contract may be terminated after one month's notice under specified conditions (inability to perform assigned work, unsatisfactory quality of work, unauthorised absence, company's decision not to renew, or other reasons at the company's discretion). The company also reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without notice or remuneration in case of proven misconduct.
• The contract employee must give 30 days' notice to the company if opting to quit; salary for the notice period will be paid by the company.
• Jurisdiction for any legal disputes arising during the contract period will be at the place of working or Bangalore only.
• The contract employee must not disclose information received during the engagement to any person or establishment other than the company, during or after the engagement.
• This is a corrigendum to recruitment notification No. 1087 dated 14.07.2026; only the experience requirement for Assistant Manager (Lease & Exploration) has been revised (from 10 years to 5 years in the relevant field). All other conditions from the original notification, as reproduced in this corrigendum, apply.
