Registration / Application Fee
The MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 fee has two components: a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The amount depends on the category and the type of seat (AIQ/Central Universities vs Deemed Universities).
| Counselling Type | Category | Registration Fee (Non-refundable) | Security Deposit (Refundable) | Total Payable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15% AIQ / Central Universities / AIIMS / JIPMER / AFMC / ESIC / B.Sc Nursing | UR/EWS | ₹1,000 | ₹10,000 | ₹11,000 |
| 15% AIQ / Central Universities / AIIMS / JIPMER / AFMC / ESIC / B.Sc Nursing | SC/ST/OBC/PwD | ₹500 | ₹5,000 | ₹5,500 |
| Deemed Universities | All categories | ₹5,000 | ₹2,00,000 | ₹2,05,000 |
- If a candidate opts for both AIQ/Central University seats and Deemed University seats, only the higher of the two fee structures (Deemed University fee) needs to be paid - not both.
- The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.
- The security deposit is refundable, but only if the candidate follows MCC's counselling rules (for example, not resigning from an allotted seat after a later round in violation of the norms).
- Payment can be made online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Important Instructions
- Data entered during MCC registration is treated as self-certified; personal details such as name, date of birth, category, or contact information generally cannot be modified once submitted, so verify all entries carefully before final submission.
- Applications and registrations must be submitted only through the official MCC website - MCC does not accept applications through any other mode.
- Candidates who are not allotted a seat, or who resign or opt for an upgrade, need to register again for subsequent rounds; earlier registration does not automatically carry over.
- Refunds of the security deposit are processed only after all counselling rounds are completed, and only to the same bank account or card used for payment.
- Leaving an allotted seat after Round 1 does not attract a penalty, but resigning or not reporting after later rounds can lead to forfeiture of the security deposit, as per MCC's counselling rules.
- Candidates can simultaneously register for MCC (AIQ) counselling and their respective State Quota counselling, provided they complete separate registration with each counselling authority.
