MGU University Hardware Engineer Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Hardware & Networking/related field of study OR Three year Diploma in Computer Hardware/Networking/related field OR ITI in Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance/Computer hardware assistant.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and support of computer hardware, printers and network components.
• Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices and latest market trends.
• Certification/experience in any networking/server maintenance course may be considered as an added advantage.
• Good communication skills.

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration: ₹18,000/- per month (Rupees Eighteen Thousand only).
• Appointment is on temporary contract - consolidated pay basis for a period of one year, extendable up to two years based on performance.

Age Limit 

• Minimum age: Not below 18 years as on 01.01.2025.
• Maximum age: Not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2025.
• Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
• A relaxation of 1 year in age for every 1 year of service up to a maximum of 5 years will be given to candidates for experience in Universities.

General Information/Instructions

• The post of Hardware Engineer is on temporary contract - consolidated pay basis for a period of one year, extendable up to two years based on performance.
• Candidates with experience as hardware engineer in Mahatma Gandhi University service need not produce experience certificate; they shall submit details regarding their service (date of entry, section, work experience, duration etc.).
• Applicants must have their own valid email id and mobile phone number which should be mentioned in the bio-data.
• Applications received after the prescribed date will not be considered.
• Time and date of the interview will be intimated only to shortlisted candidates through email.
