Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation or Diploma in Chemical/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation
Essential qualifications: Minimum Aggregate Percentage UR and EWS-55%, OBC(NCL)-45%, SC/ST/PwBD- 40%. Candidates who have passed engineering degree or diploma between 2021 and 2025. All candidates mandatorily have to enroll/register themselves in the Govt. website https://nats.education.gov.in/ as “Student”.
Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one or more years of work experience are not eligible to participate.

General Information/Instructions
Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying exam/awaiting result of qualifying exam/who do not have mark sheets and degree/diploma certificate (either provisional or final) are not eligible to participate.
Guidelines under Apprentices Act on Reservation for OBC (NCL)/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD is followed. Those who are claiming reservation under OBC (NCL)/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD shall provide certificate as per the standard format prescribed by the Government which is available at https://www.mrpl.co.in/careers.
Candidates are required to produce the original documents along with one photocopy at Apprenticeship Fair for verification.
Proof of registration in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
Proof of Age: SSLC marks card having date of birth or Matriculation certificate indicating date of birth or School leaving certificate indicating date of birth or Municipal birth certificate.
Educational qualification [Class X, XII, Diploma, Degree]: a) All mark sheets & certificates of educational qualifications. b) Diploma/Degree certificate and semester wise/year wise individual mark sheets.
Proof of CGPA conversion to percentage in minimum essential qualification: Documentary Proof of CGPA conversion to percentage (If applicable)
Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)]/ Income and Asset Certificate (EWS): Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)]/ Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS category) issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format. OBC (NCL) certificate must be issued on or after 1st April 2025.
Persons with Benchmarked Disabilities (PwBD) certificate: PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
Aadhaar Card: A copy of Aadhaar card/ E-Aadhaar
Recent Colour Passport size Photograph: 2 copies
Candidates are required to make their own arrangements for accommodation/transportation/any other requirements. Company shall not reimburse boarding or lodging expenses at any stage such as document verification, joining or during the tenure of engagement.
No TA / DA will be paid to candidates for attending document verification cum joining.
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited shall neither have obligation to offer employment to apprentices nor an apprentice can claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship at MRPL.

Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria shall visit the Apprenticeship Fair in-person and submit the application in the prescribed format along with the requisite documents. The application format will be made available on the spot.
All candidates mandatorily have to enroll/register themselves in the Govt. website https://nats.education.gov.in/ as “Student”. The unique registration number generated by NATS 2.0 portal is to be mentioned in the application form.
