The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling registration at the official portal, mcc.nic.in. Round 2 covers admission to MBBS, BDS and other participating undergraduate medical courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC institutes and Deemed Universities. Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1, as well as those who want to upgrade their allotted seat, can participate in this round, subject to MCC's eligibility and upgradation rules.Registration and choice filling for Round 2 have opened from September 3, 2026. How to Apply - NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Registration Process
- Visit the official MCC counselling website, mcc.nic.in.
- Click on "New Registration" under the Candidate Activity Board (first-time Round 2 participants), or log in with existing credentials (candidates who already registered in Round 1).
- Read the instructions and accept the terms and conditions.
- Enter the required personal, educational and category details, and set a password.
- Pay the applicable registration fee online.
- Proceed to choice filling and select preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
- Review all entered details carefully, then lock your choices before the deadline.
- Download and save the confirmation/ payment receipt for future reference.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Complete registration, fee payment, choice filling and choice locking strictly within the prescribed windows - MCC deadlines are generally not extended.
- Do not share your MCC login credentials with anyone, and avoid relying on unofficial agents or third-party websites for registration.
- Before locking choices, verify the college name, course, quota, fee structure, location and any bond or service obligation.
- Candidates already holding a Round 1 seat should carefully read MCC's current upgradation, retention and reporting rules before making a decision, as consequences vary based on Freeze/ Float status.
- Keep copies of all submitted forms, payment receipts, locked choices and allotment letters until admission is fully completed.
