Selection Process

Selection will be made through Shortlisting of candidates followed by Interview.

  • Applications will be scrutinized as per eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview (date, time and venue will be informed separately).
  • Candidates have to bear their own travelling cost for attending the interview.
  • Self-attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates will be submitted at the time of interview. Original documents will be required for verification.
  • Final selection will be based on performance in the interview and verification of documents.
  • NPS Trust reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit.
  • Mere fulfilling of eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
  • The decision of NPS Trust in all matters relating to eligibility, shortlisting and selection shall be final and binding.
  • Appointment is purely contractual for 3 years (extendable by 2 years subject to outstanding performance). No claim for regular / permanent appointment.

How to Apply

Application Mode: By Email only. No other mode (post, online portal, hand delivery etc.) will be accepted.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Download and fill the prescribed Application Format (Section II of the notification) in legible PDF / type-written format.
  2. Paste recent passport-size photograph and sign across it.
  3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (DOB proof, educational certificates & mark sheets, experience certificates, relieving letters, caste / category certificate if applicable, Annexure-A for OBC if required, CV / Resume etc.).
  4. Send the complete application along with supporting documents by email to [email protected].
  5. Mention the exact subject line: “Recruitment of Staff (<Name of the Post & Department>) on Contract Basis”.
  6. Candidates applying for multiple posts must send separate applications for each post.
  7. Applications received after the due date / time or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

Note: Only one application per post will be considered (latest application in case of multiple submissions).

General Instructions

  • Cut-off date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, experience) is 28-02-2026.
  • Appointment is purely contractual in nature. Selected candidates shall have no right for permanent absorption in NPS Trust under any circumstances.
  • Initial contract period is 3 years, extendable by 2 years (one year at a time) subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Performance will be reviewed half-yearly. Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination of contract.
  • Termination of contract can be done by either party by giving 2 months’ notice or payment in lieu thereof.
  • Place of posting is New Delhi (may be transferred anywhere in India as per requirement).
  • No residential accommodation will be provided.
  • Total yearly leave of 30 days (proportionate basis) with conditions mentioned in the notification.
  • Remuneration is fixed monthly gross salary with provision for annual increment based on performance.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (reading, writing & speaking) is essential.
  • Candidates working in Government / PSU must submit proper NOC / relieving letter at the time of joining.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • Corrigendum / Addendum, if any, will be published only on the official website www.npstrust.org.in.
  • Any dispute arising out of this recruitment shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi only.
  • NPS Trust reserves the right to cancel / modify the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
